CLOUD4All work and GPII Work are the same
The work on the needs and preferences is identical for CLOUD4All and GPII and AccessForAll.
- AccessForAll is the focus of the standards work (see Preferences).
- CLOUD4All/GPII will be contributing to this standards effort, which will then be used in the CLOUD4All/GPII work.

The COMMON TERMS REGISTRY
COMMON TERMS REGISTRY JOINT WORKING GROUP
A group consisting of Cloud4all/GPII, ISO 24751 and other interested parties has formed to work on defining the CT REGISTRY.
- It is meeting regularly Monday 2 pm CET on Go to Meeting https://www3.gotomeeting.com/join/705233502
KEY OVERVIEW PAGE for CT REGISTRY
RAW DATA from Standards and Vendors that was used to compile the REGISTRY
- To see all the raw data we have collected so far, please visit the spreadsheets: {OBSOLETE -- SEE THE REGISTRY ITSELF NOW }
Each standard, device or application is on its own page of the workbooks (some have two pages).
To see the LATEST COMPILATION of needs and preferences items for the REGISTRY
- {OBSOLETE -- SEE THE REGISTRY ITSELF NOW } see https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlBUpM-TFURidEFvRjRCeEZXTEZhWFNrZmx4TVdsR0E#gid=0
- the REGISTRY entries are shown in the first 6 columns
- if the REGISTRY looks blank or strange -- be sure to sort "descending" on
Adding new things to the REGISTRY {OBSOLETE -- USE THE REGISTRY ITSELF NOW }
- IF you have an additional set of (needs and preference) settings for a new device, please add a set of columns to the Excel sheet and enter the settings.
- When entering the data for a new device see if there is already a term defined that matches any of your settings. If there is, then use that row to describe your settings . if your settings are different create a new row.
- You may also have settings that are specific just to your application and could not appear on any other application(e.g. the location of a special toolbar on the screen at startup). For these you should create your own page and put those settings on that page which is just used for your product.
Tools for User Needs and Preferences
- The team is working on a number of preferences management tools. The work can be found on the User Preferences UX page in the wiki.
