The core GPII architecture provides infrastructure that supports automatic personalisation of any device a user is accessing so that it's settings give the best achievable match to their declared preferences. The architecture is designed to have maximum flexibility in deployment and to support a wide range of technologies and devices. It is possible to install locally or use the cloud depending on the exact requirements. Special care has been made to ensure the ease of getting solutions working with the GPII, including installed AT, mobile devices and web apps. Security is also a key design feature.
It is currently possible to install the architecture on Windows, Linux or in the cloud for Android and web applications
