Basic Pilot Scenario

Pre-requisites


Prepare the machines - 2 windows machines, 2 linux machines, android phone, simple phone, windows tablet: http://wiki.gpii.net/index.php/Setting_Up_Your_Development_Environment, setup ATs, desktop shortcuts

2. Launch PMT on platform A (Windows or Linux), modify settings for common terms

3. Save the settings to the preferences server and login (clicking the "save and apply button")


4. The PMT displayes the new user token, facilitator manually creates a USB or RFID stick

5. Log settings by clicking a desktop shortcut


6a. (RBMM path) Launch PCP on platform A (Windows or Linux) via button on PMT (PMT is replaced by PCP)


7a. (RBMM path) User Modifies settings using the PCP


8a1. (RBMM path), if they're satisfied they click the "save" button which saves to the preferences server (via PCP).


8a2. (RBMM path) Else they click the "full editor" button, which saves the settings and launches PMT (replacing the PCP), where they can tweak further and click "Save and Apply" to save and view their changes.


9a. (RBMM path) Use desktop shortcut to add "RB MM" statement to the NP set and re-upload to prefs server.


6b. (STMM path) Manually change application specific settings

7b. (STMM path) Use desktop shortcut to snapshot settings and save them to prefs server

8b. (STMM path) Use desktop shortcut to add "ST MM" statement to the NP set and re-upload to prefs server.

10. Logout using PCP or PMT depending on what they have open


11. Login to platform B (Windows or Linux or Android or Simple Phone or Windows tablet) using USB or RFID or QR code


12. Log settings by clicking a desktop shortcut

13. Manually modify AT and system settings

14. Log settings by clicking a desktop shortcut

SP3 Implementations should be finalized
